Yes! Friends in Solidarity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Every dollar raised by Friends in Solidarity directly supports training programs in education, healthcare, pastoral leadership, and sustainable agriculture. FiS funds go toward teacher and healthcare worker training, trauma healing workshops, farming initiatives, and leadership development. We work closely with Solidarity with South Sudan, ensuring that resources reach communities directly.

FiS is the U.S.-based partner of Solidarity with South Sudan, an international collaboration of Catholic congregations responding to the needs of the South Sudanese people. While SwSS operates directly on the ground in South Sudan, FiS provides funding, advocacy, and awareness-building to support its mission.

As one family, we work toward peace, restoration, and improved lived experiences for those impacted by conflict in the region.
