Our Team

Margie Clark is an attorney with DC’s Counsel for Child Abuse and Neglect representing children, parents and caregivers involved in the foster care system. She previously worked as a Supervising Attorney with DCVLP where she trained and managed pro bono attorneys handling high-conflict custody cases. She began her legal career as a litigation associate at Steptoe & Johnson LLC. She has extensive leadership experience in delivering legal services to low-income DC residents and continues to be involved in city-wide efforts to enhance programming and improve client outcomes. 

She is Vice President of Friends of DC Superior Court, a member of the Board of DC Refers and previously served as a Board Member of Lockwood House. She is a volunteer with NETWORK Advocates for Catholic Social Justice supporting the government relations team.

Margie is a graduate of Georgetown University and received her JD from Fordham Law School where she was a member of the law review.
