Our Team

Sandra Coles-Bell has served as the Executive Director of the National Black Sisters’ Conference since 2022, following her tenure as Program Director in the Archdiocese of Washington’s Office of Cultural Diversity and Outreach. A dedicated lector at her parish and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, she regularly proclaims Scripture at Masses broadcast internationally.

A sought-after speaker, Sandra addresses topics ranging from public speaking and leadership to racism and spiritual retreats. She is a 32-year member of Toastmasters International, where she has twice held the organization’s highest leadership roles.

Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lincoln University (PA) and a master’s in administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is a proud mother of three and grandmother of three.
