Our Team

Sean McGrath is a rising senior at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where he studies economics and plays lacrosse. Originally from Bronxville, New York, Sean is the third of four siblings and enjoys hiking, overnight trips, and spending time outdoors.

Through his volunteer service with Friends in Solidarity, Sean is learning about South Sudanese diaspora communities in the United States and abroad. He is especially interested in how parish and faith networks help people remain connected across countries and continents while continuing to support communities in South Sudan.

As a Catholic, Sean values the opportunity to explore how faith, solidarity, and global community are lived through the work of FiS.
